We understand your concern, but there is no need to worry. Mountain Man has been shipping chocolate to warm areas like Phoenix, Dallas, Miami and other warm locations for many years. Mountain Man offers a Protective Shipping option that should protect your product in most extremes. We do this with a two-part system that combines coolant along with expedited shipping.

HOW LONG HAS MOUNTAIN MAN BEEN IN BUSINESS?

Mountain Man was started in 1977. We have been proudly serving our customers for over 30 years.

DO YOU MAKE ALL OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

Yes and no. Mountain Man operates a 67,000 square foot facility in Parker, Colorado, where we roast, mix, manufacture chocolate and package. We also contract with other manufacturing partners for products that they make to our specifications.

I LOVE MOUNTAIN MAN CHOCOLATE. WHAT MAKES IT SO GOOD?

There are several factors that set our chocolate apart:
1) Conching – During the chocolate manufacture process, beans are ground and then remixed with cocoa butter, milk and vanilla to get the final flavor profile. This is a process called conching and it is this process that determines that smoothness of the chocolate. Longer conch times produce smoother product.
2) True Chocolate with real Cocoa Butter – In order to fight rising costs, some manufacturers have chosen to replace cocoa butter with other oils. While this does help them reduce their costs, we argue that it also reduces the quality of the product.
3) Cocoa Butter & Milk Content – The percentage of cocoa butter and milk in a chocolate blend can vary its flavor tremendously. Mountain Man has worked for years to get this blend just right.
